Invitation to Tender for Purcells Cove Road Water Main Renewal.
The Purcells Cove Road Watermain Renewal & Paving project is located in the community of Halifax, NS.  This project includes all work associated with the replacement of the 200 mm diameter DI watermain on Rosborough Loop and Purcells Cove Road (from Rosborough Loop to Civic 1245 Purcells Cove Road), replacement of two cross culverts, 60 mm mill and pave on Purcells Cove Road (from Herring Cove Road to Pinehaven Drive), and the full depth road reconstruction of Rosborough Loop. This work is also inclusive of paving marking improvements, guiderail replacement, and intersection modifications as per the Tender drawings.

This project includes all work associated with the supply of all labour, materials, supervision, construction plan, equipment, etc., necessary for the installation of the watermain, culverts, and completion of the roadworks. This is inclusive of the execution of the work as shown on the drawings, as described in the specifications, and in accordance with Halifax Water’s (HW) latest revision of the Supplementary Standard Specifications, and Halifax Regional Municipality’s (HRM) latest revision of the Municipal Guidelines. Work is also inclusive of all excavation, removals, reinstatement, chlorination and de-chlorination of mains, pressure testing, commissioning, and other activities associated with pipe and culvert installations, and roadworks.
